Eiichiro Oda is a Japanese manga writer, best known for his manga series One Piece. With 430 million copies in distribution worldwide, One Piece is the top-selling manga series of all time. The series’ reputation resulted in his holding named one of the manga artists that shaped the history of manga.
So, really, it should not be shocking to hear Oda has one fantastic house. The creator had his large home featured on a Japanese TV show for the New Year, and it was really as insane as you would assume.
Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, has an exciting house. Previously, we saw Oda’s studio, which is also located in his home. After checking out that, other parts of his house, which were recently introduced on Japanese TV, shouldn’t come as a total surprise.
On Twitter, fans started sharing stills of NTV’s unique that showed off Oda’s home. The images, break down everything from the artist’s balcony to his bathroom.
On his balcony, Oda has a full-on train turning around the pad. The miniature is just big enough to give somebody a lift if they need it, and the set-up seems kinda cute with its engine.
As for Oda’s bathroom, The entire bathroom is covered in the ceiling-to-floor wallpaper of the ocean. Guests really feel like they were floating with sharks when they access the room, but they may not need to think like that when they’re prepared to go.
Oda also has a massive crane game with a kind of special goodies. The author stocks it himself, so we can only imagine what Oda tucks away in the game.
The author of One Piece continues to grow more prosperous each year as the franchise expands. Back in 2016, Japanese news estimated Oda gathered in nearly $30 million a year on just royalties just so the guy can afford as many underwater bathrooms as he wants.
